First Baptist Church of Troy, AL is excited about reaching people for Jesus and sharing the joy that Christ brings into an individual’s life. The Family Life Ministry was developed with this purpose in mind. The Scriptures tell us in Luke 2:40 that Jesus grew mentally, spiritually, physically, and socially. The programs that are provided through our recreation ministry are to help us become more well rounded individuals as we grow in the wisdom and stature of God.
There is a particular Scripture passage that is very appropriate for our ministry at the Family Life Center. 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 says “What! Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your Spirit, which are God’s.”
The Family Life Center facility has been excellently designed and equipped to meet the active leisure needs of our church family.
